Energy Rebates & Incentives

There is a wide variety of insulation state rebates, and federal energy insulation grants which reward property owners who utilize the newest technologies to make their homes and businesses more energy efficient.

These should not be confused with alternative energy rebates and tax breaks for the purchase and installation of alternative energy systems such as solar energy equipment, solar power systems, wind turbines, and solar hot water units typically installed in homes.

Insulation rebates are usually in the form of federal tax credits for building. If you are building a new home, these might come in the form of LEED awards. If your project is a retrofit or building addition they might be state or federal.
